Giovanni Reali is a Venezuelan choreographer, dancer and stage director of Sicilian origin. Based between Latin America and Europe, he has developed a body of work that bridges movement, theatre and music. In Caracas, he staged Mozart’s El Empresario Teatral and an adaptation of Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus (Salieri), productions that highlighted his interest in musical dramaturgy. More recently, he has pursued his career in Spain, where in 2024 he directed Cartas y cantos a un acompañante, written and performed by soprano Jessica Luis, presented in Barcelona and later at the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts. His creations explore the dialogue between tradition and modernity, weaving together Latin American rhythms and Mediterranean sensibilities.
On July 5, he presented a new creation yet untitled at Bottega Tommaso to a music by Mahler.
