Tatjana Krivenkova

Tatjana Krivenkova, born in 1964 in Riga, is a versatile Latvian artist working in painting, printmaking, and ceramics. A member of the Union of Artists of Latvia since 1998, she has developed a unique artistic language combining minimalism and symbolism. Her works explore the relationships between color and light, matter and spirit, often inspired by natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights and geological structures. Krivenkova’s almost monochromatic canvases invite deep thought about infinity and transcendence. She took part to many international shows and residences reinforcing her status as one of Latvia most infulent artists.
